“Baking like Grandma used to,” that is the phrase sisters Sandra and Sheryl went by when they opened Flour Mill Bakery in 1996, and the phrase they still go by now. Just off the beaten path, located in a strip mall off State Road 26 in Rossville, is where the bakery sits. The Flour Mill Bakery has a wide variety of homemade baked goods, but the biggest draw is the homemade doughnuts. You will have no problem finding a doughnut for you, since they have more than 50 in variety. I recommend trying the chocolate glazed, that is my favorite. The menu doesn’t stop there, they have bulk foods ready to buy, like cheeses, pastas, gluten free mixes and more. This is a great place to grab a quick sandwich, you can find their lunch specials on their Facebook page. Flour Mill Bakery is a great place to grab a cup of coffee and chat with a friend, they have lots of open tables and seating.
